The mission of the Emergency Management Agency is to save lives and to protect property while minimizing the impact of catastrophic events on Noble County's citizens.

 

The purpose is to establish functions and responsibilities of Noble County agencies through a comprehensive plan. This plan helps organizations deal effectively with the mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery elements of emergencies.

Emergency Management Agency Advisory Board meets the 4th Wednesday of each month except for the month of December.

Local Emergency Planning Committee meetings are held quarterly the 4th Wednesday in the months of February, May, August and November.

The Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) is responsible for gathering information regarding a facility storing reportable amounts of extremely hazardous chemicals. Use of funds include but are not limited to creating/maintaining an emergency response plan, exercising the plan and helping to equip the county’s HazMat team. The HAZMAT team is located at:
